In Search of the Magic Diet explores the reasons why so many individuals seem to be casting about for a diet that enables them to lose the weight when they want to lose it. The DVD provides a historical overview of the usually misguided efforts to develop and promote the ultimate diet. At a minimum, as the DVD explains, these dietary approaches have at least there major shortcomings:
- no one knows their long-term health consequences
- these diets seldom promote meaningful lifestyle changes
- most of these diets don’t encourage a high level of physical activity by the individual trying to lose weight.
