I was in bed for last 3 weeks and ressumed office (after 26 days) from today. Walking around with a crutch....

Thank you good sir. Will do that then. Peter I am sticking to SS only, I am only 3.5 month old in it and I am...

Re: Max effort
Right. Perhaps what I am lifting is 80-85% of 1RM. I was concerned if my 5 rep max is detrimental to my CNS in the long run. My concerned came from reading this: http://www.defrancostraining.com/articles/38-articles/60-westside-for-skinny-bastards-part1.html where, under the heading Major Modificati...

Max effort

Yes, climate is definitely changing. In Calcutta, we used to have moderate summers and winters (compared to Central India, say Delhi). But in the last few years, there is less difference between our climate and theirs. In fact starting this summer, we were as warm as Jaipur in Rajasthan, which is ab...

If you miss reps one time, just lift the same weight next time. If it goes OK, then continue as you have been Will do that then doc. thanks. And we have weighing scale at the gym. Guess I will weigh the bar there next time. I am curious too.. Belts aren't a safety tool they're a performance enhance...
Sorry, I guess I didn't worded it correctly. I actually do 2 Warm Up sets, and only one work set. When I said ' 3rd set 4th rep' I meant the 4th rep of the work set. Sorry about the confusion. I was not counting the weight of the bar because I am not sure if its a standard Olympic Bar (in fact I do ...
