Behind the neck shoulder press
What are your opinions on the exercise? I know it gets a bad rap, but personally...ive grown to love it recently. Ive had alot of dislocation problems with my left shoulder being quite unstable when its in certain positions, so i proceded very cautiously with this exercise my first few times out. I ...
Tim - Thanks for the advice. Like i said though, this problem has been completely gone for nearly a year now. From everything ive read about hernias, thats what it sounded like. It wasnt always when i had to go to the bathroom, i shouldve mentioned that. (and to specify, im talkin #2)Also if i had t...
Im always afraid of getting a hernia. About 4 years ago i was feeling a small bulge occasionally and some pain in my groin. I was diagnosed with a pre hernia, which was described as a weakness but not an actual hernia that required surgery at that point. It went away for a while, but then came back ...

However, do you guys think if i went with strictly dumbells for like a month my barbell bench wont go anywhere or even down any? Tha...

dumbell bench vs barbell
Ive been a barbell loyalist you could say over the last god i dont know...2 years when it comes to benching. However a few days ago i decided to go with the dumbells. When finished i looked in the mirror and to my surprise i looked like the Incredible Hulk! (ok, well, minus 150lbs of muscle and the ...

I never actually began doing a Westside routine, was just something ive been considering. I have a different routine i just started.Im trying out the split i mentioned, with doing shoulders the day after bench. If I regress at all in my bench and shoulder workouts or dont make any progress in 2 week...
I read that those sets arent supposed to be to failure, just to work the supporters, so you are guys are right...it doesnt matter. Its really hard for me to not work towards failure though, its like an addiction! Like i have to go until i have nothing left. Unrelated question - What do you guys thin...
question
Ive been looking into a Westside type routine, where it calls for around 3 sets of 6-8 reps for the accessory muscles (triceps, delts..). Now my question is, should this be 3 sets all at the same weight...or 3 advancing sets with the 3rd being a top set (like 100, 120, 140lbs for example). Or does i...

I dont get like that with weights, but i sometimes do with other activites. Like if I were to go to the driving range or something, i'd feel ok the next day but the day after that is when my side would be really sore. I always thought that was weird. It would probably be a good idea to post one of y...
