Wow! I'm burning 397 calories? That's way more than I thought I was burning, especially for only 25 minutes.

Calories burned?

Been a while since I have actually posted here, things in RL have not been going so well since I was last active. I did get certified through WITS to be a personal trainer but did not follow through with it yet. Anyway, my question is... Is there anyway to know how many calories have been expended b...

I've been squatting a lot lately, and also use a box. For some reason my lower back is getting more of a workout...my form seems to be pretty good. I don't know if I am leaning forword too much causing the weight to "crush" me and when I come up I'm actually doing a mini back hyperextention...whatev...

Only for me I tried to mess around with them after squatting and couldnt...my lower back was so tired and started to cramp up. Deadlifts after squats seem to be a no go.

Deadlifts using EZ curl bar...

Anyone ever try this? I just noticed that It can be done using my ez curl bar...this could be good because I can have my big barbell free. Didn't know if there would be any reason why NOT to use the ez curl bar to deadlift...other than the grip would be different because the ends are not straight......

Body fat/muscle mass

One of my goals this up comming new years is to get down to at least8% body fat. My question is, how does one increase muscle mass, but decrease body fat. I want to stay at least 165lbs. I have a power rack in my house, and dumbells. I can squat, dead lift, bench, do chin-ups. I live on a street tha...

Good question. I'm no expert yet, but any pushing chest movement where you arms are farther than shouler width can help to build the outer chest. Dumbbel chest flys Wide pushups Wider dips (be careful) Cable chest flys I know what you mean about the wide grip benches...I don't like them either becau...

I was always taught to explode with my lifts...I guess it was because of grappling. I've never tried to lift slower than that.

I can get certified to be a personal trainer at my college by W.I.T.S....I don't remember what it stands for but its a national certifier for personal training. Its roughly 8 weeks long an...
