Re: Any exercise for sedentary work style?
Anything is better than nothing. Getting up now and then and going for a short walk is a good idea. Get a mix of intensities of workouts. Start with this: https://exrx.net/Beginning

Re: 75-Degree Incline DB Press
The pectoral muscle has 2 heads, the Sternal and Clavicular. Both are stimulated by this exercise but it does preferentially stimulate the clavicular head, also known as the upper chest. This exercise also hits the anterior deltoid which is why you feel it in the shoulders. More exercises for that a...

JPS, I'm glad you're getting back to fitness. When Tim died, most of the rest lost interest. I sent you a link to the facebook group. Send me an invite. Maybe we can support each other going forward. I need to get back in shape.

As a normal user, you can't delete other user's posts. I can as a moderator. Right now I'm the only one that visits at all and I don't visit very often. There's more spam traffic that legitimate traffic these days. There's more filtered out that you don't see but my notification directory is usually...

Re: Weight Training in high school
I was never in a weight gym until university. I introduced my children to weights before they saw it in school. My son was in track and the weights made a huge difference to him and I know he used the school weight room on his own. I expect he was the exception. I doubt that weights will be come tha...

Re: Fatloss issues
4 lbs in 4 months is not bad considering you barely mentioned diet. Continue with the gym. Focus on improving your fitness, however you define that. Overall you have to create a calorie deficit. Skipping meals randomly likely will not do that because you will just eat more to compensate. Green tea c...

Re: Daily Diet Plan
I follow strict diet and do regular exercises but still my bmi is obese why? BMI doesn't take into account muscle mass. If you are far more muscular than most, you may not be obese. You will need a better test. If you're of normal muscularity, you likely are simply eating too much relative to the c...

Did you write this or did you cut and paste it from somewhere? Does this answer a question someone asked? If so it should be in that thread. if it's just something interesting you found, write a comment saying so.

Kettlebells have a huge skill component. They also a different effect than traditional strength training. Over time, you will see improvements in movement quality and endurance as well as strength. You can certainly structure your workouts as you suggest, however, in order to improve at skill relate...

Re: Question about Situps ?
I didn't recommend leg raises because they still allow the hip flexors to overwhelm the abs. If you need to strengthen abs relative to your hip flexors, leg raises are not the way.
