I like to do my push ups on two dumbells. You can go deeper, good for the wrists and it throws in some instability too, which makes it more challenging. Ive seen them get criticized a lot, but I picked up a pair of "perfect pushups" for $10 and I live them for the same reasons you like the dumbbell...

The chain idea is interesting. I'd think the swinging would add some difficulty. I'd also assume it could limit the exercises you do by not being able to get into position. Have you looked into the Olympic weight dumbells? Something like: http://www.sportsauthority.com/product/index.jsp?productId=6...

Eating. Actually I think my eating is pretty fine right now but it's the hardest part to control. My laziness always keeps me out from preparing a good meal. And the only tool I can use efficiently in the k-word is the microwave. Ordering some food is much more easier. learn how to grill, you wont ...

I managed to break through a stall by switching from 70% max HR steady cardio to intervals. I have no idea if it was just changing that did it for me, or if the intervals are just plain better.

That being said, it cant hurt to try.

eating without a doubt is the hardest part, but if the poll would have let me pick more than one answer it would have been eating and sleeping.
Too much fat and sugar, not enough veggies, and waaaaaaaay to much alcohol.
plus I dont think Ive hit more than 5 hours of sleep a single night this week. :(

maybe my perspective is just tainted, but everyone I know that goes to a chiro is in terrible shape and never exercise. I used to have back pain all the time till I started lifting and now its gone(except when I pass out on a floor drunk, that always kills my back). Im not gonna go so far as to say ...
