Well either way, right now, my back is my weak point so I'm working it 2-3 days a week now (I have a hard time overtraining, especially with the amount of food I eat while bulking, lol). I'm basically giving 2-3 days a week purely to lats/traps/rhomboids, with the other 2-3 days to squats/deadlifts/...

My shoulder press is really that far behind? My shoulders are my most prominent feature and what I thought was one of my strongest areas. What are some of everyone's PRs for db shoulder press? I really always thought I was doing pretty well. Also, I do mine at complete 90 degrees without a big arch ...

Re: New to the forums - Have a question about upper back str

I read in the foundations thread that your BB Rows/Chinups should be on par with your bench? I can only do about 6 deadhang chinups and my BB Row max with good form and parallel to the floor is only about 245. My squat is 470, bench is 315, deadlift is 485, Seated DB Press is 80sx10 I'm 215lbs and ...

I don't know if you'd get significant hypertrophy. But 30 pullups at 215 pounds is still 6450 pounds moved per workout. If you do 10 x 3 with 60 second breaks, I'd think you have to get some hypertrophy. Even if you didn't, if you can get from 10 x 3 to 10 x 6, I can't imagine your back muscles wou...

So, what I'm doing is using a method I read about for lagging bodyparts: I'm going to assisted pullups 8sets of 8, (Vince Gironda's theory for lagging bodyparts) until I'm capable of doing 8 sets of 8 with purely bodyweight. It's going to be at the start of my back day, because even from a purely a...

Well I'll be honest, 95% of the time I stick to non-machine movements (DB, BB, OCCASIONAL cable) But for some reason I've always opted on back day (Lats, specifically) to do machines. And I'm thinking this might be the reason for my weakness BB rows and Pullups. My old routine was this, although I'm...

I've read that potatoes have one of the highest satiety indexes, which means even if they're calorie dense - they're more likely to make you fuller for longer. I'm also a recreational powerlifter/bodybuilder and I eat them all the time, during a bulk or a cut and can easily maintain ~10% bodyfat wit...

100g of carbs is low.. borderline keto diet, really. Especially doing heavy weight training and HIIT training, he's going to be carb depleted in a matter of days.
