Re: pain and swelling in.....

I don't know much, but I'll see what I can say. I believe this pain and tightness is a direct result of me listening to the wonderful advice on not collapsing my knees inward on the upward motion of my squat. I'm not being sarcastic here not at all. I think there is a connection. Practically when yo...

Re: Milk - for non babies

These are my last cents. Nothing more. I don't think raw milk kills you, I know pasteurizing has also downsides, and I don't say you have to drink milk. I drink pasteurized milk because I personally think it's good for me, and more healthy. Also I get plenty of nutrients from the milk, and I'm sure ...

Re: Milk - for non babies

Yeah, that's why I mentioned as a point of view also and accept that there are arguments as valid on both sides. I still believe I'm safer with pasteurized milk. I'd rather know that harmful bacteria or microbes will not most likely come from my milk, than drink raw milk and gain some bit more unkno...

Re: Milk - for non babies

The real problem here is pasteurization! It is the same problem like with bread of our days, they ruin everything with processes that create tons of this products. Yeah, it would help you if you knew anything that you just didn't read two minutes ago. Do you know why we do pasteurizate milk? The pr...

Circuit Training program

Stay with me, this is a bit tricky. I was approached by my girlfriend who wants get a bit more back into shape. Since this is what I'm studying to become, I took it as a challenge. And yeah, it was a bit complicated. The task was to design a training program to do at home, with bodyweight (and a med...

Re: Random crap

Well, The Vipr -thing kinda looks like a bazooka, so it must be effective. I'll give them that. And you can toss it and smack each other with it, which makes it super effective. Seems legit.

Re: Strategies for getting the max 1RM

For my two cents(And mind me, I'm not a pro powerlifter), you should usually play it very safe at first. You do some weight you could do for atleast 2 or 3 reps. Then the second attempt is the record you are chasing. If you miss it, you can lower it a bit, and if you beat it, you can try to get heav...
