I know I read an article within the last couple of weeks (but it wasn't necessarily a recent one) about the idea that people, when training with a heavy day and a light day tend to let their light days get too heavy, don't recover enough so they don't lift as heavy as they otherwise could on their heavy days. They tend to end up with a slightly-lighter mediocre day and a slightly-heavier mediocre day.
I'm thinking that it was on either Poliquin's or Lyle McDonald's blogs, but I can't find it now. Does anyone recall seeing that article, and remember where?
