The looks on their faces were priceless as they watched me take 3 buck doubles (double cheeseburger with less cheese as far as I could tell) and put all the meat together discarding the buns before I ate it.
I did that at my old job, everyone laughed at me.

Wow, what a great party! Hoosegow's a great host. The Texas Barbecue was fantastic. Too bad so many of you couldn't make it. We'll have to have another one when we hit 200. My place next time.

Barbecue. Of course. It was in Texas, so we ate dead cows. Several of them. And they were big cows.

Ah. Well I have to say that this is all just a dream. When in fact, I'm in your dream and the Architect.

I was on the bus today and my wallet fell out of my pocket. Didn't realize until I got off. I ran as fast as I could wearing loose skate shoes and made to the next bus stop.

It really pays to be in shape.

Happy new year! We stayed up to watch the Sydney fireworks (AU$5M worth) display on TV. The local fireworks consist of soaking an old tire with diesel, lighting it on fire and throwing it up into a tree. We counted 15 of them visible from our yard just after midnight. It's really kind of pretty, the dots of bright orange light scattered around the hills.

Hey Canadians! Do you remember a TV series called "Corner Gas?" We have seasons 1 & 2, and that's what we watched as we stayed up for midnight this evening. I think it only went 3 seasons, and then reappeared in an animated version. I think it was briefly picked up by the Comedy Channel, maybe a bit later. I haven't laughed that hard for quite a while.

It ran for 6 seasons and is thankfully finished. http://www.cornergas.com/

In my opinion the later seasons weren't as good as the early ones. There are 2 lame spin-offs, Hiccups and Dan for Mayor, both in their second season.
