"Your clients will be overjoyed that they actually get results for a change." Ironman
For his sake, I certainly hope that's the case. Unfortunately, from what I've seen over the years, I don't think most personal training clients are interested in hard work and consistency. Some just want to be be entertained, or flirt with their trainers, or BS. Others are so impatient they they give up on any new exercise they can't master in the first set, or so lazy they need constant prodding. Once I even saw a grown man lay down on the floor in the middle of a weight room and pretend to be light-headed to get out of finishing a workout. HE WAS DOING PREACHER CURLS!
Still, as difficult as it may be to find serious, motivated clients, it's even harder to find a trainer who knows his a** from a hole in the ground, so maybe he'll do okay.
I wan to be a personal trainer...but

You have a point there. I have tried to help people that just don't stick to it. It works great for people who stick to it. But so many are just too lazy and there is no motivating them. However I think a way has just been discovered. I saw a study that showed when companies give money to employees for weight loss, employees lose more weight. The more money given, the more weight they lost. The highest amount was just $7 per % of bodyweight lost. So a person that went from 200 to 190 got $35. So if that's what it takes maybe more companies should start doing that.
